The architectural and interiors project developed by FWR for the Piano Nobile of Palazzo Contarini Delle Figure aims at highlighting the luminosity of the volumes whilst revealing the compatibility of modernity with an architecture which was designed five centuries prior.
Palazzo Contarini delle Figure in fact dates back to the first years of the fifteenth century and was designed by Antonio Abbondi “Scarpagnino” – the proto to an important Venetian magistrate who did not fail, to take on board the teachings of Fra Giocondo, an erudite humanist who had great expertise in the field of “ancient architecture.”
