CEASE
On occasion of the 60th International Biennale Arte, Giulia Foscari, founder of UNA / UNLESS, curates “CEASE” in Campo Santo Stefano,a public art project by Bosnian Herzegovinian artist Šejla Kamerić. The artwork is commissioned by Ars Aevi Museum of Modern Art.

Hoisted at half mast, the white flag brings us to a halt. lt imposes a moment of reflection, in silence, in mourning. Though tattered, the unexpectedly solid flag, is always waving; even at wind still, it is suspended in perpetual motion in the sky in sign of unwavering optimism and hope” - Giulia Foscari
